On Sunday, I finished the Red Magi (except for the beads on the crown and the box but I’m calling it finished as of Sunday).

I am not as pleased with the red robe as I have been with the way my stitching turned out on the other pieces. I’d never done this stitch before. I don’t think I should have laid the braid so close to the continental stitches. I may (depending on whether it continues to bother me-and whether I have enough thread) go back and fix the robe, or pick another stitch entirely. And GAH! you can’t imagine how much I hate ripping out stitches.
I started the Angel in the set on Sunday.
Then today I received in the mail Paula’s Ornament of the Month for March. If she’d put a needle in the canvas before she mailed it, I’d have started stitching on it at lunch. But then I’d likely have not gotten anything else done today which is never good for me.
I don’t really have a “thing” about the Nativity, but I do seem to be stitching a lot of them these days.
I signed up for an additional 12-1/2 hour sessions with my personal trainer. I don’t yet have Michell Obama smoking hot arms, but I do have some muscle definition.
Tonight I begin week five of the Couch Potato to 5K Plan. It actually seems to be working. The way it’s gone so far is: Monday kicks my ass, by Sunday (which is the 4th or 5th time at the health club running/walking those particular distances) it’s gotten almost easy.
I’ve lost exactly zero pounds. That’s terribly discouraging but it isn’t why I started doing this. I can’t say I like the exercise. Any of it. But I DO feel better and sleep better. That’s something.
