A Lot of My Links are broken because I got over zealous in cleaning stuff up one evening and haven't had time to reload them all. Sorry. I'm sure I'll have them up again soon.
Please honor the copyright of the designers for without whom we would not be able to stitch.
The dragon was designed by Jennifer Aikman-Smith of Dragon Dreams who does really cute, whimsical pieces.
Here are some examples of my painted canvas work:
This is a tear dropped shaped ornament called Turk. The painted canvas was done by Damarj Designs and the stitch guide was done by Amy Bunger of Amy's Golden Strand.
This is a piece I did for the ANG Auction. I don't know who the designer is, though my guess would be Kathy Schenkle, and I call her Pilgrim Woman.
This piece is called Christmas Chapeau and was designed by Princess and Me. Princess and Me also provided a stitch guide. The background is my experiment with ribbon floss. This is the finished version. I had it made on a tabletop frame.
This is my husband's Christmas Stocking. The stocking is a design by Nancy Coffelt and is distributed by Quail Run Needlework Designs. I picked, with Lizzie's help, all the threads and stitches for the stocking. I'm hoping Nancy will do another stocking with dogs on it so I can have a matching one!
This is a little Santa I got at The Needleworks in Austin, Texas. The canvas is by Heartstrings by Pat Thode. The stitch guide was done by the very talented, Mary Ann Jones.
This is a Breast Cancer Angel by Painted Pony Designs. I was pleased with how pretty it turned out. I'll get a picture of it once I have it finished.
This is an OSU Santa by Designs by Petei. This file is a little big, but I've not yet figured out how to work the software with my new digital camera. Sorry.
Here are some examples of my charted needlework pieces:
This piece is from the ANG Project Notebook. I don't remember what it is called, or who designed it. Anyone who knows, and I'll update my page. I had this made into a pillow and it sits on the chair in my office. This piece was a great use of small stitches.
This piece is called Quilted Cat. It was designed by Pat Timpanaro of Neon Flamingo Designs. This was my first needlepoint piece. I have Pat to thank for giving me the courage to tackle needlepoint and for opening up a whole new world for me.
This piece is called Nuance De Couleur. It was designed by Sue Reed and was the first Group Correspondence Course I took with the American Needlepoint Guild. The piece is a wonderful study of color and shading.
This piece is called Santa Fe Steps. It is designed by the very talented Carole Lake of CHL Designs. Carole recently put a free pattern of Santa Fe Steps on her web page.
