12-4-2003 - Random Letters
Dear TallMediator man,
You know what? I don't really care how those people feel. We're talking about a backhoe and American dollars. Let's talk about how much money they are willing to pay and my client is willing to take and get this thing done with.
And most importantly, let's not spend 6 and 1/2 hours of my day getting it done.
Signed,
Me

Dear GirlChild's Principal:
Let's just ignore one another and move on.
I still don't like you. I still have no respect for you. And I certainly don't want to make small talk with you.
Signed,
Me

Dear PsychoSister:
You are 35 years old and need to start taking responsibility for your own life.
It isn't my fault you are unhappy.
If you've told your weird impotent boyfriend to move out, why should we have to give him Christmas gifts?
If no one reacts the way you think they should, maybe it's your expectations and not their actions which are out of wack.
The reason no one likes you is because you are petty, mean, selfish, and unpleasant.
You need to get over it.
Signed,
Me

Dear Support Staff in my office:
Get a grip. You are probably paid too little but you don't do very much.
I ask you to do simple things and it takes a week to get it done. I don't even think about asking you to do something hard.
I prepare my own pleadings. I type my own letters. I pull my own files. I add the new attorney's to the case management database. I talk to everyone who calls about this fucking bankruptcy when you could easily help with some of those calls.
Signed,
Me

Thank you for the castle made out of sugarcubes.
Thank you for encouraging everyone to have postcards sent to your classroom from all over the world when you were studying geography.

Signed,
Me
